How DCA is Recruiting Diverse Creatives with Virtual Portfolios

David Chipperfield Architects (DCA), a London-based design-led architectural firm, needed a better way to manage recruitment for a highly competitive and creative field while improving diversity and inclusion. Using Pinpoint’s blind recruiting and applicant tracking tools, they wanted to move away from paper portfolios and manual email-based processes that made it hard to track candidates and keep up with fast-moving hiring.

Pinpoint gave DCA a single online platform for storing applications, scorecards, communication, and feedback, while helping the team screen candidates more objectively with customized scorecards, equality monitoring, tags, and referral tracking. This helped DCA uncover overlooked talent, including hiring 4 of 10 Black applicants who had initially been missed, and now supports a workforce of 120 employees across 37 nationalities.
