Carrefour, the French multinational and one of the world’s largest hypermarket chains, needed a way to capture the full flow of shoppers at store entrances and deliver high-impact visibility for brands. The challenge was to create an interactive, first point of contact that both promotes advertising content and helps customers quickly find in-store promotions.
Pimcore, together with solution partner Imagefields and HighCo Shelf Service, deployed "Kiosk Vision": Pimcore-managed digital kiosks in 200+ Carrefour stores combining an upper advertising screen and a lower interactive touchscreen. The kiosks print up to 5,000 unique coupons over a four-week campaign, provide store maps and services, centralize promotions, drive shoppers to the shelves and accelerate brand awareness.
