Leveraging Oracle CPQ Cloud to better manage Price Agreements for customers and distributors

Eaton, a global power management company, needed a new way to create and approve Price Agreements while undergoing an SAP upgrade. Historically approvals were handled by email, which led to missed steps and slow turnaround. Pierce Washington worked with Eaton to implement a solution using Oracle CPQ Cloud to address the creation and approval workflow for these agreements.

Pierce Washington implemented Oracle CPQ Cloud as the central system for creating and approving roughly 7,000 Price Agreements annually, integrating with SAP, Vistex and SSO (JOE). The phased rollout replaced a custom agreement tool and enabled quoting in CPQ, resulting in decreased time to create agreements, faster approval turnaround, and stronger governance across Eaton’s Price Agreement process.
