Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in serving science, needed to replace an Excel-based quoting process that was slow, error-prone, and not reliably integrated with SAP. Pierce Washington implemented a CPQ (configure-price-quote) solution to support Thermo Fisher’s complex quoting requirements and a global rollout that had to handle multiple languages, currencies and regulatory differences.

Pierce Washington deployed CPQ for 400 internal sales reps across 13 countries, automating complex pricing, discount thresholds and bundling logic to eliminate invalid products and incorrect pricing. The solution removed key sales-support bottlenecks, enabled accurate change-orders, and now converts quotes seamlessly into SAP orders with processes to ensure quote amounts match incoming POs.
