Empowering Hyster-Yale’s Dealer Network with Oracle CPQ

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, a global designer and manufacturer of lift trucks, was struggling with a legacy quoting tool that had performance and maintenance problems, plus a manual communication process that hurt customer satisfaction. Pierce Washington helped Hyster-Yale replace that tool with Oracle CPQ to support dealer quoting, special pricing requests, and order tracking across its global dealer network.

Pierce Washington implemented Oracle CPQ in the US and EMEA, integrated it with Salesforce.com and ERP systems, and rolled it out to 1,000 internal sales reps and 2,500 dealers. As a result, dealers can now configure, price, and quote without Hyster-Yale intervention, while the Salesforce.com and ERP integrations improved forecasting and enabled end-to-end quote-to-order conversion.
