Using Memsource at the Leipzig University The Pros and Cons

Students analyzed a prepared text and translation memory, produced translations, performed QA and exported deliverables; feedback highlighted the tool’s ease of use, cloud convenience and broad file support. Memsource also clarified pricing (flexible subscriptions vs costly desktop upgrades) and cloud security (owner-controlled access), and the course ran smoothly with 20+ engaged participants; Dr. Böhm plans to extend the workflow to cover assignment intake and invoicing.
