Memsource is Ideal Tool for Attaining Our Educational Goals Rikkyo University, Professor Tony Hartley

Memsource was adopted by Rikkyo University for a new graduate course in Technologies for Translators and Interpreters to address the challenge of teaching students not just tool use but how to evaluate, compare and choose translation solutions, manage projects, and ensure interoperability across systems without requiring local software installs.

Memsource’s uncluttered UI, cloud delivery and strong interoperability with tools like SketchEngine, Systran and NICT let students extract terminology, use MT suggestions and move data between TMs, enabling practical project implementation. The platform helped the program meet its educational objectives and support new MA offerings aligned with ISO 17100 competencies.
