Danfoss Group Translates into 20 Languages with Memsource

Danfoss Group, a Denmark‑headquartered manufacturing leader with €5.1 billion in net sales, 23,500 employees and 61 factories, sells products in more than 100 countries and translates manuals, product catalogs and websites into up to 20 target languages. The Global Marketing Communications team needed a way to manage and automate high‑volume localization while maintaining quality and consistent terminology across many content types and markets.

Since 2012 they’ve used Memsource to centralize translation memories, term bases, QA checks and an intranet terminology search, and to assign tasks directly to internal proofreaders. The solution lets Danfoss process translations in‑house with ready access to terminology and past translations; ongoing platform upgrades have met evolving needs, enabling more consistent, efficient localization across their global markets.
