Hotchkiss Air Supply is the UK’s leading independently owned provider of ventilation and air movement products, operating for over 40 years with ten branches and £1.5m of stock. In 2017 MD Pete Slater shifted focus from customer acquisition to internal operations and cost savings but lacked visibility into manufacturing data and metrics, was paying around £10k a month in production overtime, and needed a way to measure labour, overheads and materials.
Hotchkiss chose Phocas for its ease of use and data adaptability, and Phocas built a bespoke manufacturing database that surfaced key KPIs. With clear, timely metrics the business reduced overtime and other internal costs, enabling faster, fact-based decisions and expected annual savings of at least £70k, while opening the door to additional Phocas financial modules.
