CoolDrive, a 38-year-old supplier of automotive parts and accessories, needed a better way to manage inventory across 60,000 products, 20 warehouses, and a large sales network. Its previous ERP business intelligence system was too difficult, time-consuming, expensive, and clunky for the fast-paced, same-day delivery demands of the repair sector. CoolDrive turned to Phocas for data analytics and smarter inventory control.

Phocas helped CoolDrive consolidate data and create meaningful links between datasets, making it easy to drill down into stock, sales, branches, reps, and locations. With Phocas, the company improved forecasting using stock turns and stock-to-sales ratios, while branch managers and sales reps could quickly review performance by customer, product, promotion, or location. The result was better visibility, faster prioritization, and more effective inventory management, with about 15 daily users, 40 weekly users, and 90+ people able to run valid queries.
