Alspec, an aluminium distributor, needed a faster, simpler way to report on data from Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP. Before Phocas, reporting was clunky and often required help from IT, making it difficult to build the reports the business actually needed.
Alspec implemented Phocas as its reporting tool, initially for the 37-person sales team, with plans to expand into finance and inventory. The solution made reporting simple and easy to access every day, giving staff the information they needed without the delays of AX; the business also reported strong internal adoption and very positive user advocacy for Phocas.
