MGM Resorts International, a major hospitality and entertainment company, faced a massive workforce disruption when government-ordered lockdowns forced it to close its properties and furlough or lay off tens of thousands of employees. Their challenge was maintaining clear communication and providing essential resources to this large pool of former employees to support them and facilitate a potential return to work. Phenom's solution involved creating a dedicated Alumni Network portal and leveraging its Talent CRM and Campaign tools. This allowed MGM to launch targeted email campaigns, share crucial information and job resources, and connect alumni with partner employers. The measurable results were significant, including over 33,000 portal visits, 423 positions filled by alumni, and a 99.38% application conversion rate, demonstrating the success of Phenom's tools in maintaining a strong talent community.
