Mars, the global confectionery leader, needed to overhaul its career site as part of a broader employer rebrand and create a candidate experience that felt more engaging, personalized, and locally relevant across markets. Working with Phenom and its talent experience platform, Mars set out to replace a basic job board with a global career site supported by localized experiences in multiple languages.
Phenom implemented a global career site plus 18 localized sites with a flexible “freedom within a framework” approach, using its CMS, translation support, chatbot, hosted-apply flow, and rich content features like employee-generated videos and interactive FAQs. The redesign delivered strong results, with Mars’ apply-click conversion rates rising from 7.5% to as much as 50% on some pages, while more than 1,500 employees participated in content creation.
