A regional health system wanted to turn recent new movers in its market into patients by welcoming them to the community and promoting three services: Urgent Care, Primary Care and its Health & Wellness Center.

Working with Virgin Pulse’s Patient Acquisition and Retention team, the system ran a targeted direct-mail campaign with clear calls-to-action (visit urgent care, call to schedule, find a doctor online, or bring the postcard for a free first month at the wellness center). The program delivered 2,600 new patients (53% conversion) and generated $16M in charges.
