Previous initiatives yielded quick incentive-driven spikes followed by drop-off; HR wanted a year‑round, safety‑integrated solution that used local role models and seamless incentives to sustain engagement.
Avient partnered with Virgin Pulse to deliver a digital-first, customized campaign—using the app, local wellness champions, safety “cards,” wearable trackers, breakroom messaging, at-location computers, posters and monthly emails—backed by a year-long incentive structure. The multi-pronged rollout removed participation barriers, increased and sustained engagement, reinforced safety and wellbeing at site level, and helped embed a culture of health and productivity.
