RappiPay, the digital banking arm of Rappi, needed a better way to launch its RappiCard in a crowded market and engage users who were already seeing lots of messages across the superapp. The company wanted to move beyond guesswork and understand which channels and language would resonate most with customers, especially as it aimed to attract new cardholders in Mexico and expand across Latin America.
Persado partnered with RappiPay to use its AI content generation and decisioning platform to test and optimize messaging across email, push notifications, in-app notifications, and Facebook ads. By feeding the AI control content and iterating on message variants, Persado helped RappiPay discover the words and emotions that performed best, resulting in a 179% uplift in conversions and 250,000 new cardholders in the first six months in Mexico.
