NAMI's automated employee feedback fuels the continuous evaluation and improvement of its performance management process

North American Meat Institute (NAMI), a Washington, D.C.-based trade association with about 40 employees, was managing performance reviews manually in Excel. Led by James Cornett, the one-person HR department spent about two months each cycle printing, collating, and distributing self-reviews and supervisor feedback for its biannual review process.

With PerformYard, NAMI moved to an automated performance management platform featuring custom review cycles, qualitative/open-ended forms, and sign-off workflows. PerformYard helped NAMI shorten and simplify the process, improve visibility into feedback, and create a more conversational, continuously evolving review system; employees and leaders reported a much better experience, and James said the platform and support were easy to learn and “truly time saving.”
