IPG Mediabrands & Kinesso: Creating a Culture of “Inspired Inclusivity”

Interpublic Group's companies, Mediabrands and Kinesso, partnered with Perceptyx to enhance their DEI efforts and build a culture of "Inspired Inclusivity." Their challenge was to develop a comprehensive employee listening program to inform this mission, moving beyond their existing annual surveys to create an actionable Inclusion Index that could track progress and provide ongoing insights into their global workforce.

Perceptyx implemented a tailored solution, co-creating an annual inclusion survey and a follow-up index survey to establish a baseline and measure progress. The results were dramatic; after leadership engaged in intensive training based on the candid feedback, employee perceptions of executive support for DEI saw significant and rapid improvement. This measurable impact allowed HR to shift focus to new areas like belonging, and Perceptyx continues to partner with Mediabrands and Kinesso to refine and expand the listening program.
