How BAYADA Evolved from Episodic Listening to Continuous Conversations

BAYADA, a home healthcare provider with 29,000 employees, needed a better way to understand employee sentiment across a highly distributed workforce of clinicians, caregivers, and office staff. Its existing annual census survey and disconnected internal surveys had low response rates, concerns about confidentiality, heavy manual administration, and limited integration with systems like Workday. BAYADA partnered with Perceptyx to move beyond episodic listening and build a more continuous employee feedback program.

Perceptyx implemented quarterly engagement pulses, improved confidential survey access across multiple communication channels, integrated listening data with Workday, and provided dashboards and consulting to support action planning. As a result, BAYADA increased participation from 20%–30% to 55%, expanded access to survey data across leaders, and created a more data-driven culture of continuous conversations and faster action on employee feedback.
