Case Study: Organon builds a flourishing workforce with Perceptyx employee listening

A Perceptyx Case Study

Preview of the Organon Case Study

Building a Flourishing Workforce With the Help of Employee Listening

Organon, the pharmaceutical company spun off from Merck in 2020, needed a simpler way to understand and support its newly created workforce. The company partnered with Perceptyx and used its employee listening platform for point-in-time and lifecycle listening to launch a comprehensive listening strategy across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.

With Perceptyx, Organon rolled out the Founder Experience Survey, candidate, onboarding, hiring manager, and exit surveys, plus self-service ad hoc surveys to answer key business questions. The program surfaced issues like workload and work-life balance, career growth needs, office attendance differences, and late laptop delivery for new hires; Organon responded by launching initiatives such as “Growing @ Organon,” adjusting hybrid work expectations, improving recognition practices, and automating laptop ordering. The company also shared results quickly and transparently, including executive readouts within one week of survey close, helping turn employee feedback into action.
