How Correct Care went from Appraisals to True Performance Management

Correct Care, which has provided primary health services to patients in Victorian prisons since 1998 and expanded to all 12 publicly managed prisons in 2012, faced limited visibility of staff and relied on paper-based appraisals during a period of growth. To address this, Correct Care engaged PeopleStreme and adopted their online Human Capital Management software, including the Performance Management module.

PeopleStreme implemented the Performance Management module to replace paper appraisals with an online system that delivers complete visibility of the workforce, consistent expectations around values and behaviours, and the ability to assess and rate employees. According to HR Project Officer Martina Cusumano, the PeopleStreme solution aligned employees across the business and converted appraisal paperwork into true performance management.
