Case Study: Cancer Council NSW achieves organisation-wide strategic alignment and streamlined performance management with PeopleStreme

A PeopleStreme Case Study

Preview of the Cancer Council NSW Case Study

Breaking down silos to increase organisational alignment

Cancer Council NSW, a community-funded cancer charity, was challenged by divisional silos and an inconsistent, paper-based performance management approach that limited alignment to organisational priorities. To address this, they engaged PeopleStreme to implement a new performance planning system aimed at unifying objectives across the whole organisation.

PeopleStreme’s Performance Management system was rolled out enterprise-wide, with tailored training and a cross-organisational change program, forcing employee objectives to align to the highest-level strategy. The HR team now has full visibility and reported that over 99% of objectives are aligned to one of eight strategic pillars; annual plans with six-month reviews and more frequent one-on-ones are in place, and Cancer Council NSW expects increased fundraising and efficiency from the improved organisational alignment.
