A Pendo Case Study
The American Cancer Society needed a better way to guide employees through Coupa, its spend management and procurement platform, because infrequent users were getting lost in complex workflows, missing steps, and struggling with quarterly interface changes. To improve efficiency, compliance, and the experience for employees handling donor-funded purchases, ACS turned to Pendo and its digital adoption/in-app guidance capabilities.
Pendo helped the American Cancer Society replace hard-to-find PDFs and manuals with in-app pop-up guides, blocking prompts, and release notifications that coached users in real time. As a result, employees were completing purchase workflows more accurately and compliantly, with improved satisfaction and faster spend management and procurement processes. ACS also said Pendo’s segmentation tools will help it tailor onboarding and training for different user groups going forward.
