MindBody’s marketing team needed a better way to reach and engage customers beyond email, especially users who weren’t opted into email marketing or weren’t even in their system. To solve this, MindBody turned to Pendo and its in-app guides to communicate with customers directly inside the product where they were already active and paying attention.
With Pendo, MindBody expanded from simple announcements to badges, banners, tooltips, popups, embedded guides, and in-app flows to support feature launches, migrations, upsells, and education. The results were strong: campaign click-through rates rose from 7–11% with badges to over 15% with full campaigns, and MindBody saw a 40% increase in sales leads when using Pendo to amplify its marketing efforts.
