Glooko is a web and mobile platform that syncs diabetes data from 95% of devices into a single interface to keep patients and providers connected. When COVID-19 made regular in-person care difficult, Glooko made its remote patient care service free and needed a fast, targeted way to notify and onboard health care providers so critical monitoring could continue.
Glooko used Pendo banner guides, in-app messages, and analytics (including heat maps) to announce the free offering, drive invites, surface new integrations, and inform product decisions. The approach boosted feature adoption and self-service, reduced support inquiries, and cut development and QA work by about 50%, freeing resources for further platform improvements and potential account growth.
