Catchpoint is a digital experience monitoring platform that helps companies understand how their web applications perform for real users. Because the product is technically complex, 30-day trials required extensive setup and repeated hand-holding across sales, engineering and finance teams, creating heavy overhead and a long sales cycle.
To solve this, Catchpoint built a 7‑day guided “test drive” using Pendo’s guide center with prepopulated demo data, walkthroughs, Zendesk support links and Salesforce integration. The self‑service experience cut manual effort, shortened follow-up work, and halved sales cycle time; 10% of marketing‑sourced deals now come through the guided test drive and those leads close roughly twice as fast, with the company expanding the guides for in‑app training and product communications.
