Siemens GBS Next Gen platform raises the bar

Siemens GBS, part of Siemens, needed to help customers achieve faster turnaround times, higher automation rates, and lower service costs for business transactions. To address this challenge, Siemens worked with Pegasystems on a next-generation purchase-to-pay automation platform built on Pega’s low-code technology.

Pegasystems helped Siemens GBS implement Next Gen P2P, an end-to-end workflow for purchase-to-pay that includes invoice processing, POS, business rules, legal checks, and standard forms. The results included a 20% increase in automation rate for third-party invoices, a 25% reduction in turnaround time, and an 85% decrease in rework rate for payment requests, significantly improving automation, cycle times, and execution quality.
