Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) needed to modernize its aging IT estate of nearly 140 applications across multiple platforms, which was becoming inefficient and unable to meet the needs of customers and stakeholders. To support its digital transformation goals, MIB turned to Pegasystems and the Pega Platform to build a new digital ecosystem.
Pegasystems helped MIB modernize its Police Helpline first, delivering a minimum viable product in just three weeks using agile and design thinking, then expanding to Helpline and Whiplash solutions. The result was a major transformation delivered a year ahead of schedule and under budget, with improved customer experience, faster delivery, a more scalable architecture, and stronger automation and process efficiency.
