J&J partners with Pega to drive efficiencies in clinical research

Johnson & Johnson’s Clinical Operations team was facing growing complexity in clinical research as trial volumes, endpoints, sites, and data increased, creating challenges with multiple systems, delayed communication, and duplicated information. To address this, Johnson & Johnson partnered with Pegasystems, using the Pega Platform to build ClinApp, a more effective platform for managing clinical studies.

Pegasystems helped Johnson & Johnson develop ClinApp to unify user experience, automate processes, and integrate knowledge, systems, and data across study types. Although still in pilot, the solution is expected to reduce task completion time, cut redundant work, improve compliance, and deliver a better user experience across Johnson & Johnson’s clinical trials.
