GE Healthcare, a global medical technology company, faced the challenge of simplifying and optimizing its legacy, highly regulated order execution and fulfillment processes across different geographic markets. Pegasystems helped GE Healthcare run a five-day Design Thinking Workshop to reimagine the workflow and shift to a management-by-exception model instead of manually touching every order. The sprint unified cross-functional teams, generated actionable ideas, and secured executive buy-in and confidence; GE Healthcare also reported saving months of work by investing just five days, while gaining insights that validated its thinking and created momentum for change.
