GE Healthcare migrates to Pega Cloud

GE Healthcare, the healthcare business of GE, needed to unify its Pega footprint by moving a highly regulated, complex application with massive data volumes from on-premises infrastructure to Pegasystems’ Pega Cloud. The company wanted to improve customer and patient experience while supporting a large, data-intensive system used across its digital health operations.

Pegasystems helped GE Healthcare migrate the application to Pega Cloud on AWS and complete an upgrade from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 8.5.4. In nine months, Pegasystems enabled GE Healthcare to move a 2-terabyte database containing 1.3 billion records, delivering a successful cloud migration and upgrade with strong support throughout the project.
