Erste Group digitizes operations at scale with Pega

Erste Group, one of Eastern Europe’s largest financial services providers, set out to build a digital bank and needed a faster, more efficient back-office digital framework. As part of this transformation, Erste Group worked with Pegasystems and the Pega Platform to modernize legacy processes and support a digital-first operating model.

Pegasystems helped Erste Group scale its operations transformation by onboarding six Pega development teams and building an automation framework. The initiative grew from a first MVP in 2019 into one of the region’s largest digital operations efforts, and the new framework is now reducing manual testing and improving software quality.
