IHS Markit, together with Genpact, launched kyc.com to solve the costly, duplicated KYC burden facing financial institutions by creating a centralized “gold copy” of customer due diligence. With many existing customers already using Pega for onboarding, Markit selected Pega to deliver a scalable, compliant platform that reduces manual effort and adapts to changing regulations.

Using Pega 7 Case Management and CRM to create and maintain KYC and FATCA profiles, kyc.com automates case initiation from multiple triggers (new clients, reviews, corporate actions, external feeds or disputes) and provides controlled, auditable processes plus streamlined communications. The platform went live in six months and now supports 113,000 legal entities, more than 2,200 buy-side and corporate clients, 12 major global banks, and 350,000+ uploaded documents while enabling full onboarding, maintenance and offboarding of accounts.
