AbbVie transforms physician interactions

Abbvie, a global biopharmaceutical company, wanted to improve physician interactions and deliver experiences closer to what consumer brands provide. To do that, the company needed a marketing technology stack with a strong decisioning engine built on advanced analytics, business rule management, and business process automation, and it turned to Pegasystems’ Pega platform.

Abbvie partnered with Pegasystems and Accenture to build its AI-driven decisioning engine, AIDEN, using Pega Customer Decision Hub. The solution ingests data and applies business rules and process automation to guide decisions, resulting in greater flexibility, support for expanding needs, lower costs, and less manual intervention; Abbvie plans to roll it out across its U.S. commercial organization and all brands.
