Penzu is a privacy-first online journaling app founded by Alexander Mimran in 2009 to replace clunky, insecure diary options with a simple, encrypted place for private writing. As a result, Penzu grew to more than one million users in 170 countries, expanded into major international markets, and can reliably accept and transfer payments worldwide.
