Dynamo Camp is a nonprofit camp in Tuscany that provides free, medically supervised recreational programs for children with serious or chronic illnesses and their families. As the organization grew, it needed new, scalable ways to fund its programs and expand its donor base beyond traditional fundraising.

By joining PayPal’s Give at Checkout — a simple €1 microdonation option shown to shoppers at PayPal checkout with no fees to charities — Dynamo Camp quickly reached a vast new audience. The initiative generated €135k and over €43k in one month, connected roughly 100,000 net new donors (about 99% were new) and converted 17% into repeat supporters, significantly boosting both donations and long-term donor growth.
