LambdaTek is an Oxford-based online supplier of IT goods (founded 2005, ~20 staff, £15m turnover) that sells mainly to business customers and wanted to grow into European markets. The challenge was to attract and convert overseas shoppers by offering a trusted, easy checkout and seamless back‑office integration so international orders could be processed efficiently.

LambdaTek launched translated local-language sites and added PayPal Express Checkout—fully integrated with its systems and mobile-friendly—so customers could pay quickly in local currencies. The change drove strong international growth: 20% of revenue now comes from abroad and PayPal-processed international sales rose 729% year-on-year (an eightfold increase), with particularly strong uptake in Germany.
