Jackson’s Art Supplies is a London-based supplier of fine art materials (50 staff, 40,000+ products) that grew from mail-order to an international e-commerce business. Wanting to reassure global customers and boost online sales, the company needed a recognisable, simple and secure payment option to reduce friction for overseas buyers.

Jackson’s added PayPal Express Checkout to its site, keeping pricing clear and adding prominent shipping and contact details for international customers. Within nine months sales had grown tenfold, PayPal-processed payments rose ninefold, the business now sells to 90 countries and roughly £1 in every £8 of website sales is international; a localised Australian site (AUD) has also been launched with further currencies planned.
