The Phoenix Suns set out to transform live games into seamless, tech-driven experiences by creating a single ecosystem across parking, concessions, tickets and merchandise. Their challenge was to modernize payments and move toward a cashless arena without disrupting the fan experience.

Partnering with PayPal, the Suns rolled out 15+ digital payment solutions—from QR-powered “grab and go” kiosks and Venmo ticket splits to Pay in 4—enabling faster, contactless transactions and rapid testing of new ideas. The results include 1.5x faster concession transactions, a 38% reduction in spoilage, a 4x return in areas with PayPal integration, and notable increases in merchandise and ticket sales.
