Hawes & Curtis, the century-old Jermyn Street shirt-maker known for quality and service, set out to grow its ecommerce presence and extend its reach internationally. The challenge was to replicate in-store reassurance online and provide safe, simple payment and reliable shipping across diverse markets and address formats.
The company added PayPal as a payment option, optimized fulfillment and launched local sites where needed, giving international customers a trusted, easy way to pay in local currency. As a result, online now represents 25% of sales, 45% of that online business is international, and Hawes & Curtis sells to more than 50 countries, with further market expansion planned.
