Sylvania, the leading automotive supplier and long‑time brick‑and‑mortar brand of high performance lighting products, faced difficulty controlling its ecommerce presence and preserving brand image across marketplaces. To address this, Sylvania partnered with Pattern, leveraging Pattern’s Predict software to identify unauthorized sellers and MAP violators as part of a broader marketplace brand-protection effort.

Pattern implemented a multi‑pronged solution—using Predict and legal counsel to remove unauthorized sellers, producing optimized Amazon images, launching an eBay storefront, and optimizing listings and storefronts for consistent branding and search performance. The results were significant: 151% unit sales growth (2018–2019), a 90% compliance rate in the first six months, up to a 12% conversion increase from optimized images, and 100% positive customer feedback, all delivered by Pattern.
