SPANX, the Atlanta-based apparel brand known for its comfort-first shapewear and activewear, faced a challenge on Amazon: it needed to double ad spend, launch new collections, and expand market share without cannibalizing its strong organic sales. To meet these goals, SPANX partnered with Pattern and used the vendor’s AI-driven ad platform, Destiny, for marketplace advertising.
Pattern implemented Destiny’s automated bidding and budgeting technology alongside a full-funnel media strategy that included sponsored brand video, display ads, and streaming TV. The result was a strong year of growth for SPANX: ad sales increased 120% YoY, new-to-brand ad sales rose 101%, impressions jumped 655%, clicks grew 112%, CTR doubled, and True ROAS improved by 64%, all supported by more than 16 million bid optimizations.
