Pura, a home fragrance brand known for its smart diffusers and premium scents, had a strong direct-to-consumer business but was not fully realizing its potential on Amazon and other marketplaces. With limited assortment and modest marketplace revenue, the company partnered with Pattern to strengthen its ecommerce strategy.

Pattern implemented a data-driven marketplace approach for Pura, including product page optimization, targeted promotions like Best Deals and Lightning Deals, seasonality planning, and improved advertising. The results were significant: Pura grew its catalog from 60 SKUs to more than 525, expanded from one to seven global marketplaces, and achieved 185% year-over-year sales growth in 2024, along with a 56% conversion rate increase and 379% average 2-year net revenue retention.
