Wendy’s New Zealand partnered with Paradox to fix a hiring process that was too manual and paper-based to support its 21 locations. The company needed an “always-on” recruiting approach to keep up with demand, especially during the pandemic, while making it easier for candidates to apply quickly and move through the process at their own pace.
Paradox implemented its AI hiring assistant, Lou, to automate candidate screening, interview scheduling, and communication. The result was a faster candidate-to-employee process, with hires completed in as little as two to three days, about 200 hours saved per restaurant each year, and a better experience for both candidates and managers. Wendy’s NZ also gained stronger visibility into applicant flow and could better target advertising and manage openings.
