Nelbud Services Group, the largest exhaust hood cleaning, fire protection, and grease cleaning company in the U.S. with 350 employees across 20 locations, was struggling to hire and retain technicians for hard, dirty roles during rapid growth (from 200 to 350 employees). To speed hiring and improve candidate fit while staying true to its “employee first” culture, Nelbud partnered with Paradox and adopted Paradox’s AI assistant, Olivia.

Paradox deployed Olivia to manage screening, mobile auto-scheduling and interview reminders, cutting time-to-fill from more than a week to about 72 hours (>50% decrease), driving an 80% interview acceptance rate (≈50% improvement in show rates) and a 38% increase in employee retention. Olivia also freed recruiting coordinators from administrative work so they could shift into HR business partner roles, improving onboarding and support as Nelbud expands.
