NAMI Uses PagerDuty To Safeguard and Expand Critical Mental Health Resources

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization in the U.S., needed to keep its website and HelpLine highly available for people seeking mental health support. As demand grew across its network of more than 600 local affiliates and 49 state organizations, NAMI turned to PagerDuty and the PagerDuty Operations Cloud to help manage technology reliability and service disruptions.

PagerDuty provided the Operations Cloud along with funding and pro bono technical support to strengthen NAMI’s technology infrastructure, improve uptime, security, and speed, and help expand its HelpLine capacity. As a result, NAMI is better able to notify hundreds of remotely operating volunteers about issues, upgrade key systems, and extend the reach of its programs to serve more communities nationwide.
