Mary’s Meals, a nonprofit serving meals to children in 19 countries, faced major connectivity and alerting challenges as it shifted operations during COVID-19. With many remote locations lacking reliable internet, the team needed a better way to detect failures, notify the right people, and keep track of alerts across multiple monitoring tools. PagerDuty helped Mary’s Meals support its mission by improving incident visibility and communication at scale.

Using PagerDuty.org and Impact Pricing, Mary’s Meals implemented PagerDuty to send SMS alerts, route issues quickly to the right team member, and integrate multiple monitoring systems into one place. The nonprofit also connected vehicle tracking software to PagerDuty for faster emergency response. As a result, Mary’s Meals improved remote-site security, protected assets, and saved valuable resources that can be redirected to feeding more children.
