Case Study: Global Engineering Firm builds a regional Lean transformation team with Pacific International

A Pacific International Case Study

Preview of the Global Engineering Firm Case Study

Regional Lean Transformation Team Build, Mexico and United States

Pacific International was retained by a global engineering firm to support its lean management transformation following a major acquisition. The challenge was to source and hire five Lean Transformation Leaders who could be based in Mexico, operate as internal consultants, and travel internationally. These individuals needed a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution skills to deploy lean principles across newly acquired manufacturing plants.

The solution involved Pacific International leveraging its established process while building a new network in Mexico. Their Spanish-speaking research consultants mapped the local market and used a video interview platform to quickly deliver a qualified shortlist, assessing both technical and language skills. As a result, Pacific successfully delivered a full team of five leaders; four were sourced locally in Mexico and one was a repatriated Mexican national identified in Europe.
