VisitDenmark, the country’s official tourism board, set out to raise awareness of Odense — “Home of Hans Christian Andersen” — among Italian travelers and drive qualified traffic to VisitDenmark.it. The challenge was to capture attention with immersive storytelling and encourage users to explore Odense content without interruptive advertising.
They ran a 68‑second Click-to-Watch native video campaign on Outbrain (In-Feed, In-Read and end‑of‑article placements) with an in‑video CTA and ongoing creative optimization. The campaign delivered strong engagement and exceeded KPIs: a 3000% increase in daily landing page visits, +55% time on site (2:53), a 50% drop in bounce rate and a +0.11% CTR.
