Velasca, an Italian handmade footwear brand offering high-quality shoes at accessible prices, wanted to boost brand awareness and reach more qualified users to drive sales and subscriptions. Their objective was to measure and improve awareness, consideration, recommendation and purchase intent across a broader audience.
To do this they partnered with Outbrain (using Outbrain Amplify and Story Sequencing) and ran a Nielsen-validated brand lift study that compared users exposed to Velasca content with a non-exposed group. The campaign drove clear brand lift and engagement: +17% awareness, +16% favourability, +12% intention to buy and +16% recommendation, and Velasca reported strong satisfaction with the results.
